New York Social Diary To celebrate the arrival of Asia Week New York, which runs through March 24th, The Asian Art Department of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Asia Week New York co-hosted a gala reception this past Monday night at the Met.	All Arts “Gilles Chalandon: Reflection on My Life,” curated by Younghye Hwang, runs Aug. 19 -31. Opening reception: Aug. 19 from 6 p.m. to 8p.m. “Reflection on My Life” is dedicated to Gilles Chalandon’s reflection on the people and things around him, having nostalgic memories of the artist’s most special moments and people in his life.	Mutual Art Chalandon’s current exhibition reflects on the story his paintings tell. Curator, Younghye Hwang has selected two series of portraits, one of Gilles’ swimming friend, Capri, and the other of his daughter, Odette.
